Starbound

A focus timer that builds something while you work.

Starbound turns focused time into progress you can see. Run a pomodoro, a countdown or an open stopwatch, and every session you finish builds a station on the planet Veltora and earns the XP and Stardust behind your rank.

What it does

• Three timers. Pomodoro with breaks, a fixed countdown, or a stopwatch that counts up.
• Sessions become structures. Each completed focus session builds a station, and your landscape fills in as the days accumulate.
• Ranks and a shop. Focused minutes earn XP toward thirty ranks, and Stardust that buys suits and ships.
• Friends. Add people and see who is focusing right now, so sitting down to work is not something you do alone.
• Analytics. Your hours by day, week, month and year.

Signing in

You can create an account with your email address, or with Google or Apple. If you sign in with Google, Starbound receives only your name, email address and profile picture — the standard sign-in details — and uses them to identify your account. It does not read or write anything else in your Google account. The Privacy Policy sets out exactly what is stored and who can see it.

Getting the app

Starbound is in testing on iOS and Android. If you would like access, email support.starboundtimer@gmail.com.

Your data

You can delete your account and everything in it from inside the app, or from the account deletion page without installing anything. Deletion removes your profile, focus history, XP, Stardust and purchases, and cannot be undone.
