Delete Your Account

You can delete your Starbound account and everything attached to it at any time. Deletion is immediate and permanent — nothing is archived, and it cannot be undone.

Delete it yourself, in the app

The fastest route, and it needs no help from us:

1. Open Starbound
2. Go to Settings
3. Tap DELETE ACCOUNT
4. Confirm, then type delete when prompted

Your account and data are removed straight away.

Request deletion by email

If you no longer have the app installed, or you cannot sign in, email support.starboundtimer@gmail.com from the address you signed up with and ask us to delete your account.

Sending from the sign-up address is how we confirm the account is yours. If you signed in with Apple and chose to hide your email, send us the private relay address Apple gave you (it looks like something@privaterelay.appleid.com) — that is the address we hold. If you cannot send from that address, tell us the nickname on the account and we will work out another way to verify you.

We action requests within 30 days, and usually much sooner. We will confirm by email once it is done.

What gets deleted

Deletion cascades: removing the account removes every row tied to it. Nothing is retained for later re-activation, and there is no grace period in which the account could be restored.

What may briefly remain

Server logs recording IP addresses of failed requests are kept short-term for debugging and abuse prevention, and expire on their own. They are not linked to your profile once the account is gone. Backups may hold a copy for a short period before rotating out.

Deleting just some data

If you would rather keep your account but remove particular data — say your nickname or your focus history — email support.starboundtimer@gmail.com and tell us what you want removed.
